How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. .

First Fruits Prayer Service

Each Monday morning at 10am Pastor Richard leads a prayer meeting. This meeting typically lasts for 30-45 minutes. During this time we gather together in prayer and lift up the prayer concerns of our church family. We also pray for God’s vision for our church community as well as how we can take part in building up His Kingdom here on earth.

Youth Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids.

Leadership team and Vision Planning

On the third Thursday of each month our Leadership Team meets at 6:30pm at our church. This is a time where the business of the church is accomplished as well as a time for planning for the future direction of our church family. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Women’s Fellowship

Women’s fellowship gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s fellowship meets in several locations throughout our community on the first Thursday of each month. These groups provide a refreshing  opportunity for the women in the church to connect to each other and to help cultivate relationships with others and God.
Men’s Fellowship

Men’s fellowship gives the men in our church family special times of interaction. Our men’s fellowship meets in several locations throughout our community on the third Thursday of each month. These groups provide a refreshing  opportunity for the men in the church to connect to each other and to help cultivate relationships with others and God.

Bible Study
Sunrise offers several opportunities for Bible study throughout the week. The first opportunity is to take place in one of our Sunday School programs immediately following our church service on Sunday Mornings where we offer several classes for adults as well as children of all ages. We also have a Bible study program led by Pastor Richard immediately following our First Fruits Prayer service on Monday morning. On Tuesday evenings at 6pm our head deacon also leads a Bible Study in our Sanctuary. There are many opportunities to study God’s word and apply it to daily living.

BSF International- Men and Children

Bible study fellowship meets at Sunrise on Monday evenings at 6:55pm. This is an interdenominational Bible study. Sunrise hosts the men’s and children’s studies.

Bible study draws us closer to God and helps us better understand Him, His Word and His love. Through a stronger relationship with God, members have discovered how to build better and stronger relationships with others — at home, work, school and in our communities.
In the more than 50 years since our founding, hundreds of thousands of men, women and children have participated in BSF. Many have gone on to assume leadership positions in their churches and to serve God in other ministries.
