Community Outreach
The congregation at Sunrise supports many projects during the year include raising funds by participating in the Crop Walk to help stop hunger at home and around the world, donations to Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, helping with Friendship House Meals twice a year, bell ringing for the Salvation Army, and participating in the Angel Tree Program.  We hold a special collection on Blanket Sunday to provide funds to help people in need around the world. Sunrise members work the hot dog stand at Red Front Super Market to help with Brethren Woods. Every December we collect for the Heifer Project to help those in need "build a sustainable future".

During the week of March 26-April 2 folks from Sunrise CoB will be partnering with Montezuma COB in providing meals and overnight staffing at Bridgewater COB.  If you would like to sign up to volunteer, or a just looking for more information on how you can help, let us know right away!

This is a great cause, and is a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
