Communion to be Served Next Sunday
Next Sunday, February 26, is the First Sunday in Lent, and J. D. Glick will be preaching on “Peter’s Words of Denial and Jesus’ Look of Forgiveness”. Read Luke 22:31-34, 54-62 in preparation.

As is our tradition on the First Sunday in Lent, the Communion bread and cup will be served in the pews during our 10:00 worship service.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Lunch and Supper
The Bridgewater Home Auxiliary will be holding their traditional Shrove Tuesday Pancake Lunch and Supper this Tuesday, February 21, at the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren. Serving lunch from 10:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., and supper from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., the menu will include plain and buckwheat pancakes, sausage and chicken gravy, syrup, applesauce and fruit cup. Donations support the Bridgewater Home Residents.

Follow-Up of Our Anniversary Sunday
Last Sunday we celebrated the tenth anniversary of Sunrise Church.

Copies of Charlotte French’s historical narrative (shared during our worship last Sunday) are on the table in the Entryway. Pick up a copy if you are interested.

Also available are the binders into which Leann Cloud has been putting copies of our bulletins, newsletters, correspondence, newspaper articles and photographs during the past ten years. These are displayed on the table at the back of the sanctuary. Take an opportunity to look through this complete record of our life together.

If you have not yet done so, you might be interested in reading what persons have said they have appreciated about Sunrise Church. These are posted on the bulletin board in the Entryway.
