2015 Information Directory
Forms are available on the entryway table for you to submit updated contact information for our new directory, to be published early next year.  Please take a moment to fill one out if you
have not done so already.   (Be sure to update email addresses as well.)

Children's Activities
Our Children's Church meets on the second Sunday of each month from September through May.  Following the children's story in the sanctuary, children from preK through fifth grade are invited to meet upstairs in the Sunday School room for Children's Church.  If you are willing to help with this great experience, contact Lauren Puffenbarger.

Harvest Table/My 2 Cents Worth
The Harvest Table is open for garden items or baked goods that will go towards the Global Food Crisis Fund.   My 2¢ Worth Jar sits on the table in the Entryway each Sunday for your donation to help alleviate hunger in Africa.

Prayer Chain
Please submit Prayer Chain concerns to either Lura Ritchie or Cheryl Dean.

Men's Breakfast
The next Men's Breakfast is November 14 at 7 am at Thomas House in Dayton.  All of our men are invited to come for this time of fellowship.

Christmas Poinsettias
Preorders will be taken through Sunday, November 23, for red Christmas poinsettias which will be placed in the sanctuary during Advent season (November 30-December 24).  If you would like to order any poinsettias ($7.00 each) in honor or memory of a loved one(s), please sign your name on the entryway table sheet.  (Checks should be made out to Sunrise CoB.)

Congregational Business Meeting
Our annual Congregational Business Meeting will be on Sunday, November 23 at 11:00 am in the sanctuary, followed by a carry-in meal. (Bring a favorite dish or two to share.)  There will be no Sunday School, but nursery care will be provided.  The agenda will include approval of the 2015 church budget and slate of officers.  Other reports needed for the meeting should be submitted to Joe Ritchie by November 16.  We hope you can join us as we conduct important business for our congregation.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Sunrise will be ringing bells for the Salvation Army on Saturday, November 29, starting at 9:00 AM.  We will be stationed at the Walmart on Route 42 near the pharmacy entrance.  A signup sheet with 1 1/2 hour time slots is on the entryway table for those who are interested in helping.

Homeless Shelter
A new schedule for the Homeless Shelter is posted on the entryway bulletin board.  If you would like to help at one of the shelters, please see Judy Ritchie.

Pecans Available
Pecans are now available for purchase.  Choices include one-pound bags of regular pecans ($10), milk chocolate-covered ($11), and dark chocolate-covered ($11.50).  If interested, please see Judy Ritchie.

Heaven Is for Real Movie Night
Due to a recent death in our church family, we unfortunately had to postpone the Family Movie Night. It will be rescheduled at a later date.
