First Fruits Prayer Service
Join us for the First Fruits Prayer Service which takes place every Monday at 10 A.M. in the sanctuary.  This is an opportunity for the Sunrise community to come together and pray over the church and ask God to use us as a blessing to everyone we meet.  A Bible study time will follow the prayer service.

Leadership Team Meeting
The Leadership Team will meet on Thursday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.  This is an open meeting, and all are welcome to attend.

Outreach Projects
Open Doors
The Outreach team would also like for everyone to begin saving shampoo and lotion sample bottles (found in motels, etc.) during the summer for the church's collection drive for Open Doors (formerly HARTS) in the fall.

Friendship House Meal
Sunrise will be providing the Friendship House meal at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Thursday, October 8.  A sign-up sheet is on the back table in the sanctuary for meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, and to help serve the meal.  Food and servers should arrive at BSCC no later than 10:30 a.m. for the 11:00 meal.  Thanks for assisting those in our local Harrisonburg community.  For questions or additional information, contact Cheryl Dean (421-8447) or Missy Elliot (383-6770).
